Solving Word problem with bar model

When teaching mathematics I use the bar model (Singapore maths) to visualize word problems.

At the moment I use the standard drawing tool to make bars, but this is very limited. It would be nice if their was a specific tool drawing the bar model. A nice example can be found here:

This is a great tool that is specifically made for word problems. It can be used for most of the word problems (not all though).


What also would be helpful is a lesson with several word problems that guides the students how to use the bar model themselves.

I think this would really benefit the students understanding of word problem. Solving these were a problem for my students in the Netherlands as well as my students now in Thailand. (so a Dutch version would be very helpful as well I think).
